Anna Wintour's feathery look at Met Gala 2026 steals spotlight
Anna Wintour becomes first to arrive at 2026 Met Gala
Anna Wintour has become the first to light up the 2026 Met Gala with her arrival.
Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, has taken the red carpet in an emerald green/teal gown that blends drama and texture.
With a deep black color at the bottom, the dress changes into lighter green tones as it moves upward. The shape of the dress is elongating and sleek, making the color and texture take the spotlight.
The 76-year-old British and American media executive also added a feathery shawl over the gown that has mint green feathers on top and black feathers towards the edges.
Keeping her look minimal, Wintour opted for black sunglasses and black open-toe heels that match the darker tones of her outfit.
For those unaware, the theme of this year’s Met Gala is Fashion is Art. Other than Wintour, expected Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, and Anne Hathaway are the expected stars on the red carpet.
It is pertinent to mention that the 2026 Met Gala, which is co-chaired by Anna Wintour, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Beyonce, is taking place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, May 4, 2026.
