Lizzo promises one major thing ahead of releasing 'really good music'
Lizzo allows fans to decide one thing about her fifth studio album after releasing 'Don't Make Me Love U'
Lizzo has shown unshaken tenacity to keep her identity intact through her music ahead of her new album.
While reflecting on her forthcoming projects in a talk with PEOPLE magazine, the 38-year-old American singer and rapper opened up about her upcoming album, B******, especially what her fans can expect from it.
Lizzo told the outlet, "I think it's always going to be the Lizzo sound. I don't know how to not be that girl, but I will say I posted a snippet of one of my new songs that's coming out very, very soon and somebody was like, 'The '90s are back.’”
"And I was like, 'Okay.' I like to let the people decide what the sound is,” the About Damn Time songstress added.
Notably, she is well aware of the fact that people will perceive her music differently, but she kept her focus on writing “really good music” for her ardent fans.
"I love constructing and producing and creating just well-crafted music and songs. So I hope everyone likes it,” the Grammy-winning artist noted.
It is pertinent to mention that Lizzo made the announcement of her fifth studio album B****** on her 38th birthday, which was on Monday, April 27.
B******, that signifies confidence and empowerment, is set to be released on June 5, 2026. A song titled Don't Make Me Love U is already out.
