Paris Hilton believes she should be given credit for the Y2K fashion trends, as people are still creating those looks that she styled decades ago.

On Wednesday, April 29, the renowned American actress, singer, socialite, and businesswoman attended Motorola's Razr Studios 2026 launch event at the Lot on Formosa in Los Angeles.

Hilton, along with Isan Elba, Natalia Bryant, Avan Jogia, and others, was introduced as the "new Motorola Razr family.”

Sharing her feelings about the revival of Y2K fashion trends and looking back on her role in shaping 2000s fashion, she told PEOPLE magazine, “It makes me so happy and proud.”

"It makes me so proud, because I am the one who really created Y2K fashion, so it’s just so much fun to see so many people wearing looks that I’ve worn, and just seeing on all the biggest designers' mood boards, pictures of me,” Hilton noted.

The Stars are Blind songstress went on to admit that "the 2000s were such a fun time during fashion” with "all the bright colors" being "really extra and the sparkles, and people just having fun with it."

"So, it’s really fun just to see so many people really embracing that style and having a good time,” she quipped.

It is important to note that Paris Hilton showed up at the event in a vibrant blue custom Danyul Brown that had a corset top with carefully designed branch patterns and a light see-though shirt. She added more drama to her look by pairing it with matching silk gloves and a floor-length scarf.
