Travis Kelce addresses beef rumors with actress Meryl Streep

Travis Kelce finally broke his silence after actress Meryl Streep seemingly threw a little playful shade his way.

During the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, Travis’ brother Jason Kelce addressed Meryl's jab, asking, “Do we have beef with Meryl Streep? Is there Meryl Streep beef?”

To which, Taylor Swift's fiancé replied that he doesn't want any beef with the Mamma Mia! actress.

"That’s a powerful woman right there,” Travis said. “I am a fan of Meryl Streep.

"I don’t have any beef with her," clarified the professional player.

The NFL star's comment comes after Meryl shared her experience of filming in Milan. 

"The hardest thing about shooting in Milan was walking in stilettos on the cobblestones. I’d like to see Travis Kelce do that,” she quipped during a recent press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Meryl is currently busy promoting her new film, The Devil Wears Prada 2. The new sequel is set to hit cinemas on Friday, May 1.

In addition to Meryl, The Devil Wears Prada 2 also stars Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh, and Stanley Tucci.

The original film was released on June 30, 2006.
