A piece released just yesterday called ‘The Cover-up?’ by Gorden Brown for The New Statesman questioning the “(ex) prince, his protectors and the questions that must be answered” just found its way to Andrew Lownie’s Substack.

The piece not only questions the lack of fervent action taken against Epstein, and others connected to him, like drivers and flight attendants etc, but says in plain terms, “Will anyone in Britain ever be charged in relation to the sexual violence perpetrated and orchestrated on British soil by the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein? Nothing less than the prosecution of those who aided and abetted Epstein will do justice to those who suffered grievous, unconscionable sexual abuse.”

This sent Mr Lownie down a rabbit hole on his personal Substack and sees him make a myriad of points in reference to what ‘should have’ happened to all those who participated in the human trafficking of underage or other venerable women.

In the expert’s eyes this piece is “remarkable” as a piece of investigative journalism”. Moreover he also says, “we are lucky to have the famously forensic brain of the former Chancellor turning his skills to the hellishly complex Epstein Files.”

What Mr Lownie had to say about the cover-up comes in a series of concerns, some of which he claims are echoes of what he’s been saying.

On his Substack he writes, “there are a whole host of individuals, beyond Epstein and Maxwell, who would have been involved, implicitly or unwittingly, including drivers, estate agents, border officials, flight attendants and palace staff. The police should take the testimony of all such figures”.

The investigation not only references of Epstein’s ‘Lolita Express’ but also questions if the December 2000 flight that ended with Andrew at Sandringham laid across various women’s laps, is exactly that.

Furthermore, another revelation about the RAF also surfaced because Andrew once requested that there be a Royal Fleet, separate from the RAF. One that could be used exclusively for the Royal Family.

In the eyes of the biographer, “An astonishing level of entitlement that is, of course, entirely in character for Mountbatten-Windsor and takes Air Miles Andy to a whole new dimension.”

These jets were often arranged by the ex-Duke himself, meaning “it wasn’t, as the MoD seemed to suggest, something that was routine when the airports had spare capacity, subject to there being no adverse impact on military aircraft.”

But before signing off he left on a slightly lighter note by mixing another dig against the royal coffers when he said, “we should perhaps be grateful that George Osborne was not in the Treasury when the request came through, especially given the generosity he lavished on the monarchy with the Sovereign Grant, which has since increased their income more than tenfold”
