Lexie Brown addresses claims Klay Thompson cheated on Megan Thee Stallion with her
Megan Thee Stallion announced her separation with Klay Thompson on April 25
A WNBA star, Lexie Brown, has denied the claim that she was the woman with whom Klay Thompson allegedly cheated on Megan Thee Stallion.
The professional basketball player issued a statement on social media on Sunday, dismissing involvement in Megan and Klay's split.
“I’ve seen what’s being said online, and I want to be clear, none of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation,” Lexie penned on her Instagram Stories.
“This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me, and my focus is fully on that," she added.
The basketball pro found herself in a new controversy after rumors claimed she played a role in the shocking breakup, which came to light over the weekend.
Megan recently claimed that she called it quits with the NBA star due to his alleged unfaithfulness.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,’” the Grammy winner rapper wrote on her Instagram Stories on April 25.
“Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’????” added Megan.
The situation got worse when a post on X claimed that Klay had described his relationship with the Wanna Be hitmaker as "just for social media."
