Adam Thomas issues first statement after winning 'I'm a Celebrity' finale
Adam Thomas breaks silence after winning chaotic show
Actor Adam Thomas has won the latest all-star season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
During his time in South Africa, Thomas clashed with boxer David Haye and Jimmy Bullard. He had a heated argument with Bullard after the footballer seemed to cause his elimination, but the other campmates later gave the Waterloo Road star another chance.
Tensions rose again when the campmates came together for the live final in a London studio on Friday.
Haye, Bullard, and Thomas each presented their perspectives, leading to heightened tensions. Singer Sinitta and TV personality Gemma Collins left the set during the discussion. Thomas was later named the winner of the public vote.
The other finalists included Olympic athlete Sir Mo Farah, TV and radio star Craig Charles, and former football manager Harry Redknapp.
This was the second season of the spin-off set in South Africa, in which former contestants return to compete.
Thomas first appeared on the regular show in 2016, finishing in third place.
During this visit, he faced teasing from Haye, who later described him as "weak" and "brittle-spirited."
The 37-year-old English actor posted on social media on Sunday that the show was "one of the toughest things I've ever been through, physically, mentally, and emotionally".
"He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I've told David this and he's apologised and that's that! I've moved on now, am not one to hold a grudge," he penned, as per BBC.
