Stepping away from her signature naked dress, the actress turned heads in dramatic cape look.

Johnson arrived in a fresh-off-the-runway gown by Valentino at the red carpet on April 24. 

Her dress featured cream, Grecian-inspired silhouette with delicate straps and a flowing capelet.

Moreover, the actress' look was elevated by ornate feathered detailing around the neckline.

She paired the dress with statement heels, giving it a modern look.

It is pertinent to mention that Dakota Johnson wasn't the only one embracing the cape trend at the gala.

 Fellow attendees like Hailey Bieber, Keke Palmer and Jennie Kim also joined in the night's fashion narrative.

On the work front, Johnson is set for several high-profile projects, including Verity which is scheduled to release on October 2, 2026. The film also stars Josh Hartnett, Anne Hathaway and Ismael Crus Cordova.

Notably, she last starred in the romantic drama Materialists alongside Chris Martin, which was released on June 13, 2025.
