Luke Grimes has revealed how ardent fans of Yellowstone react when they find a different version of him in real life.

For those unaware, Grimes has been the role of cowboy Kayce Dutton since the debut season of Yellowstone, which was released on June 20, 2018, on the Paramount Network. He is now playing the same character in the CBS spinoff, Marshals.

The 42-year-old American actor and musician appeared on Toronto radio station CHUM 104.5, where he was to share the “strangest” things he heard from Yellowstone fans.

Responding to the question, he said he heard “a mix of things” but some people were in love with the show “so much that they were, on a certain level, upset that it wasn't real."

"Like, they were so obsessed. A lot of times you'll get the, 'You're not a real cowboy,’” the Fifty Shades of Grey star quipped.

“Well, of course I'm not, I'm an actor. That's why I'm able to do this. If I was a real cowboy, I'd be, like, herding cattle right now. I wouldn't be on this show,” Grimes remarked.

Notably, this comes after the American Sniper actor revealed that his 1-year-old son, Rigel Randolph Grimes, thinks his “cowboy hat is really funny. He doesn’t understand why I have that big thing on my head."

It is pertinent to mention that Luke Grimes shares his son Rigel with his wife Bianca Rodrigues Grimes, whom he has been married to since November 2018.

CBS releases new episodes of Marshals every Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. Here you can watch the trailer.
