Meghan Markle has been accused of being wildly out of touch after claiming she was “the most trolled person in the entire world” for an entire decade.

The Duchess of Sussex made the claim while speaking to students at Melbourne’s Swinburne University of Technology during a mental health discussion on her Australian trip with Prince Harry.

“And I can speak to that really personally, which is why I like to listen, because it rings true for me in a very real way,” the Duchess of Sussex began.

She added, “For now, 10 years, every day for 10 years, I have been bullied and attacked. And I was the most trolled person in the entire world.”

“Now, I’m still here,” said Meghan.

Commenting on her speech, Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi mocked Meghan, saying “the delusion is strong with this one.”

"Meghan claims she has been the most trolled person for the past decade. The delusion is strong with this one,” the journalist said.

Adding to it, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield also mentioned that Meghan’s claim is not right and pointed out that studies have previously showed that Kate Middleton was most trolled royal in 2024.

She added that earlier research suggested singer Adele topped global trolling lists in 2019.
