Ryan Reynolds recently shared his feelings for his wife Blake Lively as she is embroiled in a legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

For those unaware, Lively is fighting a legal battle with her It Ends with Us director and co-star Baldoni. In December 2024, she sued him for harassing her s***** and starting a smear campaign to sabotage her image. She demanded over $160 million in damages, while Baldoni did not only deny her allegations, but he also filed a countersuit against her and Reynolds, alleging defamation and breach of contract. However, his case was dismissed in June 2025.

On Sunday, April 19, Raynolds appeared on Today’s Sunday Sitdown Live, where he opened up about Lively’s legal battle and its impact on his family.

The 49-year-old Canadian-American actor and entrepreneur, who welcomed daughters James, 11, Inez, 9, and Betty, 6, and son Olin, 3, with the Green Lantern actress, was asked how he manages everything amid an ongoing legal case.

He replied, “You really see the illusion behind so much of this stuff, digital life versus real life,” admitting, “Really, without getting into too much, I have never in my life been more proud of my wife.”

“People have no idea what is really going on. I’ve never been more proud of someone in my life, with that level of integrity that they bring with them in everything they do,” the Deadpool & Wolverine star said, singing praises of his wife.

It is important to mention that Balke Lively’s 10 claims out of 13 were dismissed by U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman on April 2, 2026. Notably, s******* harassment allegations have been dismissed while a retaliatory smear campaign will move forward to the trial, which is scheduled for May 18, 2026.
