Ashlee Jenae’s family finally broke the silence on the tragic death of an influencer.
For those unversed, the 31-year-old Miami influencer was found unconscious in her hotel room in Tanzania, East Africa.
As per Where is the Buzz?, Ashlee was rushed to the nearest medical facility, where she was declared deceased.
However, an investigation into the internet personality's mysterious death is underway.
Ashlee, whose real name is Ashly Robinson, traveled to Zanzibar with her boyfriend Joe McCann on April 5th to celebrate her birthday.
The influencer's family has issued a statement on social media, revealing that they are helping Zanzibarian authorities with the ongoing investigation.
“One moment she was celebrating love and life in truly Ashly fashion, and the next, she was gone,” Ashlee and Joe families said in their joint statement.
“The suddenness, the unanswered questions, and the distance from home have made this tragedy even more overwhelming for our family," read the statement. “Ashly was deeply loved. She was vibrant, full of life, and had so much ahead of her. Our family is completely devastated.”
"We appreciate the prayers and compassion we have received as we navigate this unimaginable loss. We respectfully ask that any information not directly provided by our family be treated as unverified and not considered factual at this time," the joint family statement concluded.
