Palace shares details of Windsor Castle ceremonies hosted by King Charles and Princess Anne
King Charles and Princess Anne on Tuesday presented honors to recipients at Windsor Castle
Buckingham Palace on Tuesday shared photos from an investiture ceremonies at Windsor Castle, where King Charles and his sister Princess Anne honoured individuals recognised for contributions to public life, charity and the arts.
Pictures posted on royal family's social media accounts showed King Charles and the Princess Royal presenting honours to recipients.
Among those recognised was actor Carey Mulligan, appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to drama. Jeffrey Edwards received an OBE for work supporting disaster survivors and the community in Aberfan.
Katharine Staples was awarded an MBE for promoting sport and fitness, while Hilary McGrady, Director General of the National Trust, received a CBE for services to heritage.
Louise Fetigan and Valerie Lolomari were also awarded MBEs recognising contributions to young people and efforts to prevent violence against women and girls.
