Gavin Casalegno has excited fans by sharing an update on the much-anticipated, The Summer I Turned Pretty movie.
In a new chat with PEOPLE Magazine at the Elle Actors Rising event in Los Angeles on Thursday, the actor, well-know playing the blue-eyed Jeremiah Fisher, teased that fans might have to wait a bit longer to finally watch the movie of as a sequel of the hit Prime Video series.
Dropping an update on when fans can expect to see the movie, the 26-year-old told the outlet that he is as clueless as the show’s fans are.
“I’m going to be so honest, I don’t even have a script,” he began.
“So I don’t even know when we’re filming.”
“It’s going to be like game time,” he continued.
“Like Jenny Han calling me up and [being] like, ‘Hey, by the way, you’re going to be on a plane in a week.’ So, we’ll see what happens.”
Before conclusion, he established that even though the original series followed the emotional highs and lows of the Cousins Beach crew, Casalegno admitted that he has “zero clue” what the movie's specific storyline will entail or how it will evolve the journey of the Fisher and Conklin families.
