Prince Harry’s children have been front and center for every fan, critic and commentator interested in his royal background.

Now one such insider has even revealed just how badly the royal intends to safeguard that interest, in order to ensure his children don’t end up becoming stars, whether it be like the Kardashians or otherwise.

That’s not all, he is also battling Meghan on the frontlines in every single action, whether it be social media posts, when, how much and how little to expose their children’s lives on social media, etc. etc.

According to this source, one such major point of contention came when deciding whether to expose the face of Princess Lilibet for Meghan’s Valentine’s Day post which excluded Prince Archie, it is pertinent to mention.

While speaking to Closer magazine the insider explained the mental gymnastics that went into getting approval from the Duke of Sussex, in regards to this family specific move.

They began the conversation by confirming just how much of a ‘frenzy’ there is surrounding interest in the kids. In the sources’ words it “is in another stratosphere” and “it’s more than Meghan and Harry could ever generate.”

While one thing is clear, and that is Meghan’s ‘would never’ suggest throwing them into Hollywood “and letting other people take control,” the fact of the matter is that she does see the benefit that exists in giving them a platform from a younger age.

However, as is the case with the son of the late Princess Diana, popularity is seen as a doubled edged sword allegedly, leading him to be even more wary and thus Meghan is said to be “very intentional” about every social media post, but “anytime the kids are involved it’s even more heavily planned.”

For those unversed, “there were hours of discussions about the Valentine’s Day post. Harry had to be consulted and sign off on everything, which he did after a lot of convincing from Meghan.”

Moreover, “he begrudgingly agreed to this shot,” the source explained as well. “Though he can't bear to think what the future holds for them - he knows what a struggle it is to live a life in the spotlight. It would feel like a betrayal for him if they inadvertently open the floodgates of publicity onto Archie and Lilibet.”

Before signing off they also said, “as much as it came out looking like it was just a photo casually snapped at a special moment, it was heavily orchestrated and it took a tone of work on her part to get Harry to agree. He’s adamant he doesn’t want their kids turned into stars.”
