Inside long-simmering tension between Victoria Beckham, Nicola Peltz

Nicola Peltz had issues with Victoria Beckham prior to her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham.

“They can’t stand each other and don’t talk,” an insider told Page Six in August 2022. The source further shared that trouble was already “brewing” prior to Nicola and Brooklyn's April 2022 Florida nuptials.

“The build-up to the wedding was horrendous,” the confidant said at that time.

A source close to the family further claimed that the Transformers actress didn’t want Victoria “to be any part of the planning, and she wouldn’t clue Victoria in on anything. Communication was minimal.”

Recently, Brooklyn shared a statement on social media, making it clear that he doesn't want to reconcile with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," the eldest son of Beckham family penned on Instagram Stories.

"For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family," the 26-year-old said of his parents.

Brooklyn alleged that his parents "have tried endlessly to ruin my relationship with Nicola before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped."

"My mum cancelled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour, despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress," he claimed.
