Queen Camilla visits Wiltshire Museum
Queen Camilla undertakes royal engagement without King Charles III
Queen Camilla on Thursday visited Wiltshire Museum to celebrate the success of the ‘Assizes for Devizes Project’, said a statement issued by Buckingham Palace.
The statement said the project will "transform the Assize Court building into a new home for the Museum and give their collections the space they deserve."
It said, "The museum, established in 1874, contains the largest collection of Early Bronze Age gold ever put on display in England. It is also home to treasures from the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage site."
Pictures shared by the palace's communications team on Royal Family's social media accounts showed the Queen visiting the museum and meeting the staff.
King Charles was not with the Queen during her visit to Wiltshire, some 132 kilometers from London.
