The royal insiders have revealed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ‘very real jealousy’ toward Kate Middleton and William as the California-based royal couple is facing financial issues.

The fresh claims came amid reports Harry and Meghan have been forced to make redundancies at their Archewell Foundation because ‘it was costing them too much’.

The Closer, citing the royal sources, reported Archie and Lilibet doting parents have also been left ‘shocked’ by the Prince of Wales annual income and they believe to be a ‘massive double standard’ within the Royal Family.

It was recently revealed that Prince William was earning a staggering annual salary of around $30 million.

The close confidant revealed Meghan and Harry’s true feelings over William’s pay, saying ‘From Harry and Meghan’s point of view it feels incredibly unfair and hypocritical. Anytime she and Harry get a big payday they get absolutely hammered from every direction and branded greedy.

“Yet William can pull in $30 million and no one bats an eye or questions why he’s getting paid so much money. And he’s raking in more from other ventures alongside the Duchy of Cornwall; yet you never hear anyone complaining about him being money hungry the way they do about Meghan and Harry.”

They continued, “The rules are completely different depending on which side of the family you’re on. It’s a massive double standard.”

Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals back in 2020.

The insiders said, “That’s a hard pill to swallow, especially right now when cash flow is such an issue for them. Of course it’s triggered some very real jealousy. They genuinely believe they work just as hard, if not harder, for causes they care deeply about, yet the financial rewards don’t even come close.”
