Jennifer Lawrence offers major role to Ariana Grande, singer responds
Jennifer Lawrence and Ariana Grande may soon be cooking something up
Jennifer Lawrence offered Ariana Grande a project when the duo met at the 2026 Golden Globes Awards.
Grande responded to a rumor that she’s going to be in the upcoming Miss Piggy film while speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the ceremony. She said, "I mean, I am open! I am a big fan of The Muppets."
Lawrence later confirmed that the rumor wasn’t true; however, the Hunger Games star offered a role to the Wicked: For Good star.
The Die My Love star is co-producing the film, which is about the Muppets diva, alongside her friend Emma Stone.
Speaking about Ariana at the Golden Globes, Lawrence gushed, "If she wants to be in the movie I would love for her to be in the movie, please be in Miss Piggy!"
The film was announced in November. Lawrence and Stone may also star in the Disney film.
"We have to… It’s f***ed up [that we haven’t done a movie together]," said Oscar winner Lawrence.
However, the duo have said that neither of them will play Miss Piggy.
Meanwhile, Grande was nominated for Best Supporting Actress award at the Golden Globes. Lawrence didn’t get a nomination for her role in Die My Love despite getting critical acclaim for it.
