King Charles has made his first public appearance days after celebrating Christmas with close family members including Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet did not join the royals as they were not invited by the monarch for family celebrations.

Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie also joined the monarch this morning for a service at St Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham, Norfolk.

Queen Camilla and other members of the Royal Family were absent from the outing.

The royal fans gathered outside the church to greet King Charles, who appeared in good spirits and relaxed as he made his way to the service.

According to the GB News, the monarch is anticipated to remain at the Sandringham estate throughout the remainder of the festive period before resuming official duties in the new year.

King Charles public appearance comes days after the monarch celebrated Christmas without his grandkids Archie and Lilibet despite reports Meghan and Harry are 'united' to heal family rifts.

According to a report by the Closer, the insider has claimed 2026 could be transformative for Meghan and Harry, particularly in the wake of both of their fathers King Charles and Thomas Markle navigating significant health challenges.

Meghan and Harry want "movement and forgiveness – a chance for their kids to have the family they didn’t."

The insiders say, “Archie and Lilibet are old enough now to start asking bigger questions. Meghan and Harry don’t want to look back one day and realise the window closed. Both of them feel that – strongly.
