Prince William wants to take this step before King Charles's passing
Reports say Prince William is set to make this decision before he is crowned as a king
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has become a liability, the King-in-waiting, Prince William believes, according to royal biographer Andrew Lownie.
Given his status in the family after several controversies, the former prince "worried about what’s going to happen,” the Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York author tells Page Six. “He’s going to be no longer protected. William is going to deal with him.”
The expert also claims the father-of-three “wants to deal” with his controversial uncle before the passing of King Charles, who is recovering from cancer.
“He wants the stables cleaned … the window dressing is that Andrew will leave by the spring, and he’s a good boy, and he’s done what he’s been told,” Andrew alleges.
But the ex-prince will not go down easily, claims the writer who is writing a biography on the disgraced former prince. He will “go kicking and screaming, demanding a pretty big house, extensive staff, a gardener, a driver, a housekeeper, and a cook.”
Ahead of the book's paperback edition, Andrew teases several new juicy materials to come. “I would say almost every day, two or three people come to me with stories of encounters with [Andrew]. Former schoolmates, former Navy colleagues, former members of staff, former diplomats who weren’t prepared to talk to me."
“I’ve had some people from the intelligence agencies who were frustrated, who were reporting things that were just being ignored," he notes.
It is worth noting that Andrew was stripped of his 'prince' title and ordered to shift from his residence, the Royal Lodge home, due to his links with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
