Miley Cyrus’ sister Brandi closes ‘craziest year’ with engagement

Brandi Cyrus and Matt Southcombe are stepping into a new chapter in their relationship.

The 38-year-old sister of Miley Cyrus took to her Instagram account on Friday to announce her engagement to Matt.

In the announcement post, Brandi shared a carousel of photos from her engagement including a black-and-white image of Southcombe getting down on one knee.

“It’s been the craziest, biggest year of my life and I get to close it out saying YES to forever with my dream man… @mattsouth," Brandi gushed.

"I’m so thankful everyday that my flight got cancelled and I walked into this coffee shop one afternoon and found you,” she recalled their first meeting.

“You’re my very best friend and everything I’ve spent my whole life looking for. I love you forever!!!," Brandi concluded.

Matt rushed to the comment section and expressed his love for Brandi, penning, "Not sure what I did to deserve such a good woman but I’m grateful for her everyday day! I love you!”

On the other hand, Matt also shared his excitement on his Instagram account, writing to his stories that he “locked down the dream girl.”

“Never met a sweeter, harder working woman in my life," she added.
