King Charles strict work ethic is lauded by a Royal expert.
His Majesty, who is working full time despite his cancer treatment, has been praised for his workaholic style
In BBC documentary Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70, Royal author Richard Fitzwilliams reveals that the King has “dinner ridiculously late at night” and then returns to his desk until he falls “asleep on his notes to the point where he’ll wake up with a piece of paper stuck to his face.”
“Charles was notorious in the past. He was known to be a real workaholic, he would never ever stop,” says Fitzwilliams.
Speaking further about his tough routine, the expert added:“He never had lunch, he was too busy to even think about it.” The expert explains it was Charles’s cancer diagnosis that forced him to slow down and change his habits: “Now, it seems, he does have lunch—and half an avocado is usually part of the meal.”
King Charles made a keynote address during his latest royal engagement as he returned to Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth on Friday, December 19.
The 77-year-old delivered a powerful speech to teach graduating officers an important lesson about leadership at the Lord High Admiral's Divisions parade.
The monarch got emotional as he told the assembled cadets: "It has been some 54 years since I stood where you are, as part of Blake Division."
In his defiant address, after celebrating those passing out, the monarch said: "Leadership is about character!"
