Expert drops verdict: Should King Charles hold a grudge or be unloyal to the York sisters?
Princess Beatrice, Eugenie give royal commentators, experts and the like a field day
Chatter among royal experts, commentators and even royal critics is a buzz whenever attention shifts towards the topic of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the daughters of the disgraced former Duke.
For those unversed with Andrew’s plight, he has been stripped of all his military honors, his title of prince and even his dukedom in the wake of his associations with known sex offender Jeffrey Epstein coming to light.
In terms of close family, only Sarah Ferguson’s email correspondence has been leaked with the known financier, and as a result she has also been dropped by varies charities. However, their daughters have not come under fire.
In light of that their futures are very much in the air, when it comes to the court of public opinion but royal commentator Laura Windsor has her own take.
She recently sat down with GB News and referenced their invite to the pre-Christmas lunch, which was a tradition set up by King Charles’ mother Queen Elizabeth during her reign.
Ms Windsor feels instead of calling the sisters ‘brave’ for attending an event their parents were not invited to, they should instead feel ‘every right’.
She started her thoughts off by saying, “well, they’re just the offspring, aren’t they? They have really nothing to do with what their father has allegedly done.”
At the end of the day “they’re part of the family, and quite rightly, they should be invited to family events.”
Especially since “They haven’t done anything. So why would King Charles hold a grudge or be unloyal to the wider York family in general?” she concluded by saying.
