Meghan's 'Suits' co-star pays homage to Rob Reiner while Duchess remains silent
Meghan Markle said she has watched Rob Reiner movie a million times
Meghan Markle praised the work of slain actor-director Rob Reiner in her 2022 interview with Variety, revealing that she has watched one of his movies "a million times."
Talking about her interest in movies, the wife of Britain's Prince Harry said at the time: "For scripted, we want to think about how we can evolve from that same space and do something fun! It doesn’t always have to be so serious. Like a good rom-com. Don’t we miss them? I miss them so much. I’ve probably watched 'When Harry Met Sally' a million times. And all the Julia Roberts rom-coms. We need to see those again."
The Duchess of Sussex, however, did not comment on the tragic deaths of Rob and his wife Michele singer as Hollywood celebrities took to social media to pay tribute the late filmmaker.
While Meghan's silence has been noticed by her fans, her Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams was prominent among the celebrities who paid homage to Rob Reiner on social media.
In one of his Instagram stories, the actor paid tribute to Rob by sharing his quote about the movies he liked. The quote shared by Patrick read, "I hate those movies where hundreds of people get blown up and there are jokes afterward. They poison the soul."
Meanwhile, the younger son Rob Reiner has been formally charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the stabbing deaths of his parents, who were found slain in their Los Angeles home over the weekend.
Nick Reiner, 32, was arrested several hours after the bodies of his father were discovered on Sunday afternoon in the couple's house in the affluent west LA neighborhood of Brentwood.
