Victoria Beckham reveals her title after David’s knighthood
Victoria Beckham sets record straight on new royal title
Victoria Beckham revealed her title after husband, David Beckham, was knighted in November.
In a recent chat on Watch What Happens Live, the 51-year-old fashion designer was asked by show host Andy Cohen which name she goes by now.
“Clear this up for me, if you will. David Beckham, your husband — smokeshow — is now a knight, which means he is Sir David Beckham,” Cohen asked.
Victoria replied, “He is.”
Cohen then inquired that it makes her the designer "Lady Victoria."
Victoria corrected him, saying, “I am Lady Beckham.”
The crowd on the show applauded on the revelation, while Cohen and Victoria's fellow guest Kerry Washington said "wow."
Cohen then made a sweet reference to Victoria's Spice Girl moniker with her new royal title.
“Lady Posh?” Cohen asked, to which Victoria replied with a smile, “Listen, whatever you want. Whatever you want. … Anything for you.”
This came after Victoria's 50-year-old husband, David, was knighted for his “services to sport and charity” during a ceremony at Windsor Castle. The event was hosted by King Charles.
