King Charles to spend Christmas with Lilibet, Archie via video call
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not be there in person, but 'they will be in touch'
King Charles will hear from his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet on Christmas Day, a royal expert believes despite the royal kids are set to celebrate it in US.
According to royal expert Rob Shuter, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to call King Charles on this Christmas and their children will also join them.
Citing the insiders, the expert claims Meghan and Harry want to keep a line of communication open with the monarch even as they once again skip the traditional royal family gathering in the U.K.
The royal insiders told Rob Shuter for his substack, Meghan and Harry will not be there in person, but “they will be in touch.”
The royal insider said, “It’s important to Harry that his father hears from him on Christmas.”
Meghan and Harry also plan to jet off for a luxury New Year’s getaway with friends.
There are claims, King Charles often connects to his California-based grandchildren via video call.
However, last year in September, the Mirror had reported King Charles, who has been having treatment for cancer, has told friends he is not content with only seeing them on video calls from their US home.
The monarch has committed himself to building a relationship with Prince Harry ’s children and to be present in their lives.
