Real reason behind Prince Harry urging Meghan to reconnect with her father

Prince Harry is reportedly urging Meghan Markle to reconsider her rift with her father, Thomas Markle, following his recent health crisis.

After years of estrangement, the Duchess of Sussex is said to have reached out to Thomas with a letter, but sources claim she has no plans to travel to see him despite his serious condition after a leg amputation.

Speaking with New Idea Magazine, a source revealed that the Duke is encouraging Meghan to reconcile with Thomas while also reflecting on his own relationships.

The report claimed that Harry wants to reconcile with King Charles, who is undergoing cancer treatment as he feels “time is running out.”

“Prince Harry is actually pushing for Meghan to reconsider her feelings about reconciling with Thomas, on two fronts,” the source said.

However, Meghan “just can’t forgive” her father, the source said, adding, “It’s a very difficult situation.”

“But Meghan doesn’t seem ready to let bygones be bygones just yet.”

After rumours that Meghan did not reach out to her dad following his hospitalization in Philippines, it was confirmed that she has sent him a letter.

Revealing the contents of it, an insider revealed that Meghan’s letter to her father was “warm” and “heartfelt,” adding, “But let’s be honest — it reads more like a press release than a private letter.”

“Every word was measured. She had to protect herself,” they added. “She wanted connection, but the past has made her cautious.”

“There’s love there, but also fear. It’s one of the most difficult things she’s had to navigate emotionally.”
