Kate Hudson has revealed that her relationship with her estranged her father Bill is "warming up" after years of feud.
In a new interview with The Guardian, Kate was asked if she’s in touch with the musician after he called her "a spoiled brat who's done awful things," in a shocking 2018 claim.
"I don’t really have one," Kate said of her relationship with Bill, before conceding: "It’s warming up."
Both Kate and her brother Oliver have talked about feeling abandoned by their biological father.
After their mother, Goldie Hawn, began dating Kurt Russell in 1983, the siblings developed a close relationship with him and call him "Pa."
In his bombshell 2018 tell-all memoir, 2 Versions: The Other Side of Fame & Family, Bill criticized Kate for not talking to her Alzheimer's stricken grandmother, writing,
He wrote: "Kate doesn't have to talk to me and she doesn't have to give a dime of her millions. All I want is for her to call and say, 'Hi grandma', before it's too late..."
He continued, "I have called Kate and texted her dozens of times begging her to help her grandmother, but she hasn't responded to me..."
"I love Kate, but I think she has been contrived and destructive with me and with her other brothers and sisters. She is a spoiled brat in my eyes... She has done stuff which is just awful," he added.
This comes after Kate and Oliver reconnected with their half-sister Emily, 19 - who Bill shares with late American Graffiti star Cindy Williams.
Kate Hudson is currently promoting her film Song Sung Blue.
