U.K.-based royal commentator, Afua Hagan just sat down with Newsweek and hypothesized over the chance of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moving to the UK permanently, vs staying in LA.
Her comments come shortly after Prince Harry himself made his hopes for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet getting to meet the UK side of their family public.
For those unversed, while Prince Archie had been born in the UK and spent the first half of his life there, Princess Lilibet on the other hand was born in the US, and has spent only a bit of time in the UK, during one of her birthday celebrations.
Now with rumors swirling the expert breaks down whether she thinks a move is in the picture of not.
She started pretty much off the bat by clarifying, “I don't think they will move back to Britain. I just don't think it's on their radar. I think they want to have the option to come back and visit family, absolutely.”
But “I think Harry definitely wants to have those family bonds with his dad and with his brother and for his children to have them with their cousins,” she clarified.
Furthermore, where Meghan is concerned “I think Meghan wants that for him as well, but I can't see them taking up any permanent role as working royals within the royal family,” she added.
However its evident to Ms Hagan that, “I can't see them taking up any permanent residence here either, but I think they want the option to come and see family and feel safe.”
