Why Princess Kate, Prince William are 'better liked' than Meghan Markle, Prince Harry revealed
An expert has pointed out differences in public sentiment toward Princess Kate and Prince William and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
A PR expert has pointed out the reason Meghan Markle gets mostly backlash, whereas fans love Princess Kate.
The expert pointed to Meghan and Harry’s recent moves, like attending Kris Jenner's 007-themed birthday party last month and the Duchess of Sussex being announced by her title to the Harper’s Bazaar interviewer.
PR expert Rhea Freeman told the Express: "The recent cover shoot and the Kardashian/Jenner news attracted a lot of coverage - and I often it’s interesting that if Catherine had done the same thing, the story would be different."
For the unversed, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner included photos with Harry and Megan in their Instagram posts from the day, but they were soon removed. The Sussexes are believed to have requested that they be removed.
"The Prince and Princess of Wales continue to grow in the hearts of, well, everyone - and I feel that them both being more human and relatable in front of the camera and on outings has done this," she noted.
Rhea also thinks that Kate’s cancer diagnosis in early 2024 and her and William openly speaking about the challenge helped people see them as humans.
"With Catherine’s cancer journey, and William being open about this too, many people have warmed to them on a human level," the expert added.
"Meghan and Harry, on the other hand, don’t seem to share their human side, which makes it a lot harder for people to feel a connection to them," she pointed out.
