Queen Camilla offered her support to the Hunt family as they continue to navigate the grief left by tragic loss.
The Hunt family lost Louise Hunt, Hannah Hunt, and their mother Carol Hunt in a murder by Louise's former partner in Hertfordshire last year.
Now, Camilla joined BBC commentator John Hunt and his daughter Amy for a discussion recorded at Clarence House and is due to be aired on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on New Year’s Eve.
The wife of King Charles welcomed the pair into the Garden Room. The discussion is described as "reflective and compassionate" exchange.
The episode will mark the end of the UN's annual campaign against gender-based violence, which is an issue Queen Camilla has made central to her public work.
It is pertinent to mention that John and Amy also launched the Hunt Family Fund recently, which is a charitable initiative to support young women's ambitions, inspired by hopes and personalities of these three victims.
Queen Camilla was reportedly "deeply moved" by the encounter as she has long argued that the stories of violence against women must be met with public attention. Besides honouring the memory of three women, the broadcast will also highlight broader issue of violence against women and girls.
