Lacey Chabert reveals daughter's real verdict on her holiday films
Lacey Chabert's new film 'She’s Making a List' is out now
Lacey Chabert is sharing what her 9-year-old daughter, Julia, thinks of her Hallmark films.
Chabert, who’s 43rd Hallmark movie, She’s Making a List, premiered on Hallmark channel Dec. 6, gushed that Julia enjoys watching her holiday films with her.
The Mean Girls star told People, "It makes me happy to work on things my daughter can enjoy."
"She's still in this age where she loves to cuddle and it is the best. That's one of our favorite things to do: cuddle on the couch and watch a good movie and make snacks," she added.
"She loves when I wear beautiful dresses in the movies because she says in real life I only wear black leggings," said Chabert. "She’s not totally wrong!”
Elsewhere in the interview, the actress shared insight into their morning routine.
"I make breakfast for my daughter [Julia, 9]. This morning was blueberry pancakes with whipped cream. Sometimes it’s a bowl of cereal or yogurt. I don’t have time to make a homemade spread every morning, but I love when I do," she shared.
"We make school lunch every day. My husband [businessman David Nehdar] and I take turns. He’ll make breakfast if I make lunch. I tried to plan a menu at the beginning of the year so I didn’t have to think, 'What can I make besides a turkey sandwich?' It lasted two weeks and went out the window. I’ll usually pack pasta or a sandwich or a quesadilla," Lacey Chabert added.
