Candace Cameron Bure breaks silence on 'third iteration of Full House'
Candace Cameron Bure talks about third installment of her famous sitcom 'Full House'
Candace Cameron Bure recently got candid and shared her desire for the third installment of Full House.
For those unaware, the 50-year-old American actress, author, and former talk show panelist played the role of D. J. Tanner in the famous television sitcom created by Jeff Franklin for ABC and its sequel Fuller House, which premiered on Netflix from 2016 to 2020.
While conversing with Woman’s World, Bure admitted that she is desperate to bring the sitcom back to the airwaves once again.
Voicing her thoughts, she told the outlet, “Honestly, I would love to do the third iteration of Full House, like Fullest House or something. That would be the dream.”
The Christmas Under Wraps star added, “It’s been a dream to have been a part of a show that has a real, true legacy. It’s never been off the air in over 35 years.”
“Full House means so much to so many people. I was on the show from [age] 10 to 18, and you never know how something’s gonna go and what it’s gonna mean to people. So when I look back, I have so much appreciation,” Bure quipped, referring to Full House run from 1987 to 1995.
Notably, the Dancing with the Stars alum did not open up about her idea for Fullest House, but she cannot get over the fact that she was “chosen to play D.J., and then we got to continue that legacy with Fuller House.”
“It’s just a huge, special part of my life that still lives on. There’s always new fans and new generations that watch both of the shows, and it means a ton to me,” Candace Cameron Bure confessed
