Jeremy Allen White explains why he prefers to stay away from social media
Jeremy Allen White shares his concerns about social media
Jeremy Allen White has expressed his concerns regarding social media.
In a new interview with Extra, the 35-year-old actor said that he tries to maintain a "healthy distance" from social media platforms.
"I try to keep a healthy distance from it, but I go down the rabbit hole sometimes. It happens. It’s natural. Like, it’s addictive, you know?" Jeremy said.
The Shameless star is concerned about the potentially harmful effects of social media.
"It definitely reinforced all my ideas about my personal relationship to it, but yes, when it comes to younger people, my kids included, I think it sort of set a fire and a fear in me about, just, these people really entering the world for the first time," Jeremy said, who shares Ezer, 7, and Dolores, 5, with ex-wife Addison Timlin.
"I think young people need to be given an opportunity to understand the world without the hugeness of social media, the connectivity, all the information. I think their world should be as small as they can be for as long as possible, he insisted.
Work wise, Jeremy is currenly busy promoting his new movie, The Social Reckoning.
The film is currently showing in cinemas.
