King Charles tips his hat to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier
With the State Visit now concluded King Charles has shared a tribute post bidding him and the First Lady farewell
King Charles bids a final farewell to the Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany and Ms. Büdenbender.
The farewell bid featured a candid snap of the President, his wife as well as the King and his Queen Consort.
The message in the post however, was short and reads, “This morning, at Windsor Castle, The King and Queen bid farewell to Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany and Ms. Büdenbender.”

What is pertinent about this trip is that this would be the first State Visit ever by a German President in 27 years, according to Reuters.
The entire trip included a visit with not only the King, but also with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in his Downing Street office, which happened right before the state banquet at Windsor Castle.
