Royals fans are often seen speculating about Kate Middleton's tiara choices every time an occasion to wear the royal headpiece approaches.
And it wasn't an exception with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender's ongoing visit to the UK, when everyone was certain she would wear a tiara.
The Princess of Wales stunned her thousands of fans on social media when she appeared alongside her husband at the State Banquet hosted by King Charles in honor of the foreign guests, wearing Queen Victoria’s Oriental Circlet Tiara.
According to people.com, the headpiece marks Kate's fifth different tiara ever, and her biggest yet.
The last time Kate Middleton's photo hit one million likes on Instagram was when she wore a tiara at the state banquet held in honor of US President Donald Trump in September.
However, the photos of the couple posted by Kensington Palace on Instagram have failed to reach one million likes even a day after they were shared.
It's unclear whether Trump's popularity also added to the likes Kate's photo received on Instagram.
According to the outlet, since becoming part of the royal family, the Princess of Wales had previously worn four different tiaras for events such as state banquets, diplomatic receptions and royal weddings.
Earlier, the Prince and Princess of Wales received the German president and his wife at Heathrow Airport on behalf of King Charles III and later attended a welcome ceremony at Windsor Castle.
