Tom Cruise believes Ana De Armas 'wasn't up to his standards'

Tom Cruise has been hit hard after his split from Ana De Armas.

Insiders claim that the Mission: Impossible star's ego is seriously bruised following the split.

The source told Radar Online, "Everyone is asking: Will he ever find The One?"

Cruise was first married to Mimi Rogers, then Nicole Kidman. Later, the actor had three year romance with Penelope Cruis, and then married to Katie Holmes and got divorced in 2012.

"Ana's the first relationship he's had since Katie, and now it's over," the source claimed.

Adding, "Tom is arguably the biggest movie star in the world, and he's gorgeous, so why he can't find love is a mystery. Maybe it's just a matter of the right woman hasn't come along yet."

As per the sources Tom Cruise has been telling people that he "made the decision to pull the plug" noting that "Ana wasn't up to his standards and he's looking for someone with more charisma and life experience."

Yet, the source noted, "But he was desperate to marry her, so everyone knows he's the one who got dumped."

"He was too intense for her, and now he's back at square one," they said.

Ana De Armas and Tom Cruise reportedly broke up after their eight months romance.
