Lindsay Lohan reflects on grounding wisdom from her husband
Lindsay Lohan opens up about husband’s guidance during tough moments
Lindsay Lohan is sharing some of the wise words of her husband, Bader Shammas.
During a panel discussion at The Wellness Oasis Presented by Chase in Miami on December 3, the Freaky Friday star revealed how she keeps herself grounded when life gets chaotic under the spotlight as an actor and it is a piece of advice from her husband.
Lohan began, “I’m a very positive person so I always expect everything to go the way it’s supposed to go — and my husband has taught me, ‘You have to be prepared for other things, so you don’t get disappointed. If this doesn’t go that way, then it’s okay,’ "
"And that’s really important to me because I never really understood the value of that," she continued.
“You are your own vessel. If you don’t nurture yourself, anything can distract you in a second. Anything can take a turn," she added.
It is pertinent to mention that Lohan and Shammas were first romantically linked in February 2020 and got married in 2022. The pair is also parents to a two-year-old son, Luai.
"I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace. I am stunned that this is my husband," Lohan wrote on her social media at the time of their wedding.
