Prince Harry makes a comment that shocks Meghan Markle: ‘Oh my gosh’
Prince Harry has just gone against his wife in the most hilarious way yet
Prince Harry has just left his wife in shock, for the most adorable reason and it involves her own mother Doria Ragland.
The whole thing happened during an episode of Meghan’s With Love, Meghan Christmas special alongside top chef star Tom Colicchio.
For the Holiday special there were crackers made with personalized treats for each of the people in Meghan’s life including Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
A gift basket for Prince Harry was also featured in her homemade gift scene, and it features a love letter and as well as a handwritten decoration for her tree.
She even teaches little ways to ramp up giving this season, from using wax seals on letters because “it's the tiniest detail that suddenly feels elevated” as well as tips to transform a cheap bottle of wine into a headscarf.
However, the kicker came during Prince Harry’s own cameo in the show, when Meghan was trying to make her mother’s annual Christmas gumbo because, "it’s a once-a-year thing that she does, so we’re going to make some gumbo.”
Right in the thick of it was when Prince Harry came, gave his wife a kiss and quipped, “you must have known I was coming. Gumbo is one of my favourites — especially her mum’s. But before the fish goes in.”
While this version is different from his mother-in-law’s recipe, the prince did a taste test and said, “I can feel it puncturing through the top of my head!” and admitted that he prefers “her mum's recipe” over this.
His comment reads, “I’m not so sure it’s as good as your mum’s, but it’s certainly close.”
Meghan gasped in response and said, “what?! Oh my gosh. Well, my mom will love you for that. You know what? What a good thing to say for your mother-in-law.”
For those unversed, there have been a number of revelations made in the past, where Prince Harry’s love for his mother in law were revealed.
Especially the fact that he “adores” her, and finds her presence utterly “refreshing”, as well as loving the feeling of “being mothered.”
