Prince Harry has received disappointing news amid rumours of another meeting with his cancer-stricken dad, King Charles.

According to royal expert Jennie Bond, a private meeting between the father-son duo is unlikely, even if Charles and Queen Camilla visit the US next year.

Speaking on the matter, Bond told The Mirror that state visits are very busy, with schedules planned months in advance.

So, the monarch will have very little free time, adding that it is unlikely Charles would travel across the country just to see his son.

"State visits are incredibly busy,” the expert said. “The schedule is worked out months in advance and is tightly packed with carefully curated engagements designed to enhance bilateral relations.”

She added, "There is very little downtime, and I can’t think that the King would fly across the whole country to visit Harry and his family in California."

The meeting will be the second time Harry would meet with his father following their last meet up at the Clarence House residence in London in September 2025.

It ended their 19-month-long estrangement after the prince appealed for reconciliation earlier this year.

Harry, who cut ties with the royal family in 2020, met the king for a private tea, according to a source close to the royals, their first time meeting since February 2024.
