Andrew Mountbatten Windsor would be devastated if ex-wife Sarah Ferguson moved on with her life, reveals a source.
The former Duke of York, who has now been exiled by King Charles, will be broken if his former partner goes on to choose another man.
A source tells Closer: "[Sarah] has been devastated by recent events, but she’s never going to give up on love".
The insider revealed that Sarah is "open about finding a proper gentleman to help her enjoy life - someone successful, kind and financially secure.
"She’s always been independent, but she knows she’s got expensive taste, and she jokes she needs a man who can keep up."
Speaking of Fergie’s daughter, Princess Beatrice, they added: "She knows her dad would be crushed if Sarah met someone new and fears the thought of being alone will break his heart".
Following King Charles decision, during his latest visit to Windsor Castle, sources say Andrew was also shocked to discover royal guards no longer saluted him.
The deep bows he once received had vanished and the staff also addressed him as "Mr Mountbatten-Windsor" rather than "Your Royal Highness."
The outlet went on claiming, "Things at Windsor have completely shifted. When Andrew showed up after losing his titles, the guards didn't salute him and the formal bows he used to get everywhere had vanished."
Another palace insider said: "Some staff enjoy addressing him as Mr Mountbatten-Windsor instead of his former style. They made a point of it."
Meanwhile, there are also claims Andrew after losing his titles in the fallout of his association with Jeffrey Epstein, has already been forced to give the Royal Lodge by Christmas.
