Elizabeth Olsen has two twin older sisters, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, and they are, she says, very supportive of her work.
“[My sisters] were forced to watch all my plays my whole life and go to my dance performances,” the 36-year-old tells The Times of London. “We’re just a supportive family.”
She continues, “It feels irrelevant to talk about [acting] after 15 years of working,” adding that her childhood was “pretty chaotic.”
“I was the youngest of four,” the Marvel star shares. “We were all born within five years.”
It is worth noting that Elizabeth's older sisters had stepped into the industry before her. In a previous interview, the actress opened up about growing up as an empowered woman.
“People should feel more strong as women now more than ever. The thing that I’ve been trying to wrap around my head is, like, at what point did my parents make me feel like a very strong female?"
"I don’t really know how that happened but I always felt like a very empowered young female and it’s something that my sisters and I try to figure out," she told Us in 2017.
