Oasis director gives insights into tour pre-productions
Oasis reunited for a tour almost sixteen years later after a feud
Oasis’ video director and designer Jon Shrimpton has revealed the Oasis Live ’25 tour had been in pre-production for 14 months.
The long-awaited reunion between Noel and Liam Gallagher was announced in August 2024, with the tour beginning in the UK and Ireland this July, and Shrimpton has shared Oasis Live ’25 had been in the making for well over a year.
On social media, he wrote: “And there it was …. gone!
“After 14 months of pre-production, lots of well-kept secrets, and five months of some of the most incredible sights and sounds I’ve ever seen at a stadium show, here we are,” he further mentioned.
Oasis Live ’25 concluded on Sunday, November 23, 2025 in São Paulo, Brazil after the Britpop legends performed 41 shows across 142 days.
Shrimpton said: “The last night of the … it would be fair to say; culturally and financially successful Oasis Live ‘25 world tour, tonight, in São Paulo.”
He also called the tour a “genuine career high point” for him, and recalled “being the video director on this momentous event.”
“Travelling around the world, in the eye of the storm. I’ve been genuinely honoured to work with the most incredible, talented, ego-free, happy crew that has ever been assembled, and there’s been nothing but love from everything I’ve seen written about the show,” the Oasis director added.
“Lots of love and respect to @paul_normandale for his beautiful show design, and to @universalpixelsvideo for providing the marvellous video toys, and putting up with my OCD nonsense, and unreasonable requests!” he concluded.
