King Charles received admiration from Prince Harry's current home, the US, following his historic decision, which made Britons proud.
On October 30, the monarch saved the entire royal family from further humiliation by closing doors on his 'disgraced' brother Andrew.
Formerly known as the Duke of York, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor brought shame to the Palace with his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The years-old scandal resurfaced in 2025 after Virginia Guiffre, who accused Andrew of sexual assault, came back to headlines with her posthumous memoir.
Upon hearing emotional pleas of Ms Guiffre's devastated family, Charles made it clear in a stern statement that Andrew will no longer be able to use his titles and honours.
The 65-year-old royal was forced to leave Royal Lodge and move to private accommodation in Sandringham.
Now, American lawmakers lauded King Charles' bold move of banishing Andrew from royal life, the Daily Mail reported.
Republican Representative Thomas Massie said, "There's becoming a reckoning in Britain that needs to happen in the United States: a prince lost his title, the ambassador to the United States lost his job. We need to see those same kinds of consequences here."
On the other hand, Ro Khanna, a Democratic Representative, alarmed Andrew by stating that he might have to appear to testify in the House Oversight Committee amid the ongoing Epstein case.
Mr Ro shared, "I do think that Prince Andrew does need to come and testify at our oversight committee, and that can be bipartisan."
He paid respect to the British people and the monarch as they showcased "urgency" to put an end to Andrew's drama for once and all. He stated, "...the [urgency] British people have shown in getting justice needs to inspire an urgency here in America."
