King Charles is decking the royal halls in full Christmas cracking style

The King’s Highgrove House in Gloucestershire has been officially transformed into a winter wonderland, and thanks to a festive Instagram tour, the public can sneak a peek at the seasonal magic.

A towering Christmas tree dripping in baubles and lights that would make even Santa jealous. 

The caption said, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Xmas at Highgrove! Join our workshops and festive events to experience the magic.”

Fans gushed in the comments. “Absolutely stunning!” one wrote.

On Thursday, the Palace of Holyroodhouse kicks off its Christmas sparkle on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, complete with dazzling trees and a silver service dining display worthy of the season. 

And a week from now, Windsor Castle will open its doors to the public, letting visitors wander through holiday glory from 27 November to 5 January 2026.

The Royal Mews shop has been transformed into a winter wonderland for the first time ever, packed with everything from sweet treats and fine wines to luxury hampers and festive gift wrap.
