Former New York Magazine journalist Olivia Nuzzi’s book “American Canto” is all set for release on December 2, 2025, with bombshell revelations regarding her love affair with a renowned politician.
New York Times reports that the former journalist has discussed her love affair with the "unnamed" politician in detail.
They also claim that many readers would deduce her lover to be John F. Kennedy, the current United States (U.S.) Health Secretary.
It is alleged that Nuzzi had a digital affair with Kennedy during the heights of the 2024 presidential campaign. Their relationship mainly revolved around texts and phone calls.
When the alleged affair became public, it cost her the job at New York Magazine. She went into a self-imposed exile for an year in Los Angeles and wrote the book in secret.
Kennedy brushed her off, stating, he met Nuzzi only once for a hit piece she wrote.
He later suspended his run for the White House, throwing his support behind now President Donald Trump.
Regarding her “unnamed” lover, the former journalist wrote, “I loved his eyes, blue as flames. I loved the sight of something as trivial as a rose.”
In her book American Canto, the author claims that the politician wrote her poems and called her “Livvy”.
Kennedy has not yet reacted to the bombshell revelations in journalist’s book.
