Diddy's prison insider gives rare insights into rapper's new life
Sean Diddy Combs brings about transformation behind bars
Sean Diddy Combs has become a changed person during his time in prison, and he has vowed to create a productive impact on other inmates.
The 56-year-old disgraced music mogul shared the space at Metropolitan Detention Centre, with Raymond Castillo, who has now been released, and he discussed the rapper’s new priorities.
The Bad Boy Records founder introduced the inmates to “Free Game With Diddy” which was an innovative program to hone their skills for their life outside prison.
“Everything was smooth after that. Diddy brought unity to the unit, because the unit was really divided,” Castillo told Us Weekly, sharing that “Even counselors, case managers, assistant wardens who came and sat down in the class saw he was unifying everybody from all cultures and races, all in one room.”
The former inmate noted that the Last Night rapper taught his fellow prisoners “how to make a realistic, successful plan and the sacrifices and the steps we had to take to see it through.”
He went on to share that the lessons proved to be practically successful, for when he got released, and gave them “hope” while they were behind bars.
This comes after a judge ruled that Diddy’s release will be delayed by a month, and his new release date is now June 6, 2028.
