Dave Franco reveals if his 'card trick' in 'Now You See Me' real
Dave Franco spills interesting detail about his character from 'Now You See Me'
Dave Franco has unveiled if he really did the cards trick in the Now You See Me movies or whether it was special effects.
At present, the actor is busy promoting the upcoming sequel of the franchise titled Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.
In a recent media interaction at a premiere of the film, the Regretting You actor was asked if his card throwing trick in the movie real.
Interviewer Rachel Pizzolato asked Franco, “You are an amazing magician with cards… is that real?”
To which the 41-year-old responded saying, “That’s real. Yeah so, my character uses cards as a weapon so if I am not good at that then that is very silly.”
He revealed that his character Jack Wilder uses cards as a weapon as it can be seen in the featurette video of the movie where Dave can be seen hurting a man by throwing cards at him.
Franco revealed that he did a lot of practice to get used to it.
When asked if he can pick a lock, the Neighbors actor said, “No that is something I cannot do.”
Now You See Me 3 is coming out in theatres on November 14 featuring Dave along with Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson.
