Prince George steals the show as Kate wows in Festival of Remembrance
Princess Kate wears Queen Elizabeth’s jewels and handmade poppy
Princess Kate made a striking appearance at the Royal Albert Hall this evening, joined by her eldest son, Prince George, as the Royal Family gathered for the annual Festival of Remembrance.
Prince George made quite the impression at this year’s Festival of Remembrance, with royal fans taking to social media to gush over his debut at the solemn event.
Many highlighted the significance of gradually introducing the 12 year old to Britain’s major national ceremonies.
One admirer commented, “Lovely to see Prince George join his Mum at this wonderful event, they are slowly introducing him to the role… great parenting.”
Others couldn’t help but remark on how much he has grown, “My goodness! Look how tall Prince George is getting!!”
Princess Kate looked elegant as ever in a dress by Alessandra Rich, paired with the HMS Glasgow Brooch and earrings once owned by Queen Elizabeth II.
She wore a handmade poppy crafted from silk and glass by Izzy Ager of Lock & Co., with proceeds supporting The Poppy Appeal.
Also in attendance at the event, which commemorated the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, were King Charles III and Queen Camilla, who were seated alongside the mother and son duo.
Prince Edward, the King’s brother, attended as well, accompanied by his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, sitting close by.
Prince William was absent, returning from Brazil after engagements linked to the Earthshot Prize.
Organised annually by the Royal British Legion, the Festival of Remembrance continues to serve as a deeply moving tribute to those who have served across generations.
